Day1: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park.
On the 1st days of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will transfer you from any location in Kampala and transfer you to Entebbe International Airport or from Kajjansi Airstrip to Murchison Falls national park, and once you arrive your driver guide will pick you from the airstrip and then transfer you to the lodge in the park. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and then be served with lunch. After lunch, your Uganda safari guide will transfer you to the park to search for the numerous wildlife that includes elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, leopards, waterbucks, warthogs and among others and spotting various bird species like African Jacana, African qualifinch, Denham’s bustards, Goliath herons, Giant Kingfishers, Malachite kingfishers, Red-headed lovebird, Shoebill storks, Squacco herons, White-crested turacos and among many others. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Nile River to the bottom of the falls.
On the 2nd day of the safari wake up early in the morning and then your safari driver guide will transfer you to the park to look for the early risers, that includes the lions, hyenas, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, antelopes and among many others, as well as spotting various bird species. After the morning game drive you will be transferred to the lodge and then enjoy your lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a more exciting boat cruise on River Nile and this takes you a period of about 2 to 3 hours. River Nile offers you stunning views as the river is the major water source of the park and this flows towards the north and its noted as the longest river in the entire world, as its 6,853km (4,258) miles long and its shared by 11 countries. During the afternoon boat cruise you will be fascinated by spotting various crocodiles, hippopotamuses, elephants, along the river banks that is such incredible, without forgetting the monitor lizards, various bird spices and among many others. After the experience, you will return back to your lodge for dinner relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Fly back to Entebbe International Airport.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park’s airstrip and then fly back to Entebbe International Airport that will take less minutes.
Alternatively you may first go for the morning game drive to have more game viewing experience that offers you exciting safari with perfect wildlife viewing conditions as animals are most active during this time.
