3 days Karuma and Murchison Falls safari is a gorgeous safari experience that takes you to Murchison fall safari in addition to Karuma falls to where you have stunning safari experience with spotting intriguing rocks, viewing waterfalls and exploring Murchison Falls national park the biggest national park in Uganda. Murchison falls is Uganda’s wildlife hub with the Big four mammals that includes the rhinos, buffaloes, leopards and lions. Other animal species in the park includes hyenas, bushbucks, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, hyenas, and among others, and various bird species that are over 450 bird species like African darter, African Jacana, Black coucal, Black-headed gonolek, Giant Kingfisher and among many others.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
On the 1st day of the safari, depending on where you will be, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will welcome you and then brief you about 3 days Karuma and Murchison Falls safari. After the briefing you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park the famous safari destination on an African safari. Along the way before reaching the park you will have lunch enroute and then after lunch you will be transferred at Karuma falls that are found on Victoria Nile within the eastern part of Murchison falls national park. During your safari experience at Karuma falls you will explore the falls to where you will have the wonderful views of the wildlife species like buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, antelopes, and other primate species, sighting beautiful rocks and among others. After exploring Karuma falls you will embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise.
On the 2nd day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast your safari driver guide will meet you and then pick you for the morning game drive in the park for the stunning perfect morning game drive. During the game drive you will spot the park’s wildlife like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, lions, hyenas, leopards, various bird species as you are enjoying the magnificent sunrises. After the morning game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, your safari driver will pick you and transfer you for the afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. This is such exciting safari experience during the Murchison falls safari, during the boat cruise it takes 2 hours to where you will be able to spot the large herds of the hippopotamuses, crocodiles, on the river banks, as well you will view various elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and other antelopes along the shores and various water bird species like cormorants, fish eagles, yellow bellied storks, and among many others.
During the experience you will proceed to the bottom of the falls to where you will opt for a top of the falls hike or simply cruise back to the starting point. Hiking to the top of the falls is such stunning safari activity that takes you less minutes depending on your level of fitness, this is where you will enjoy the immersive views of the waterfalls, as you are listening to water roars and when you reach on the top you will meet your safari driver that will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari driver and then transfer back to Kampala. As you exist the lodge you will have the stunning enroute morning game drive that will offer you spotting of early risers like lions, buffaloes, hyenas, warthogs, giraffes, elephants and among many others.
Later you will begin with your journey to Kampala with the enroute lunch, and after lunch you will proceed with your journey to Kampala. And once you arrive in Kampala your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international Airport for your departure flight or dropped off at any of your convenient place in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
