Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your driver guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you from Entebbe International Airport or from any other place in Kampala. He will welcome you and brief you about the 3 days Murchison falls safari and then start on your safari to Murchison falls national park the largest national park in Uganda, along the way you will have stunning views and the journey from Kampala to Murchison falls national park takes about 5 to 6 hour’s drive with enroute lunch along the way. Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park for the morning and rewarding morning game drive; this is where you are going to spot the diverse numbers of lions, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, leopards, Jackson’s hartebeests and many others, as well you will spot bird species including Gant herons, Abyssinian Ground Hornbills, Gray-crowned crane and among many others, after the experience you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise.
After lunch, you will be transferred for the afternoon boat cruise experience to the bottom of the falls, to where you will have fascinating wildlife viewing along the river banks that includes elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, as well you view the crocodiles, hippopotamuses in water. As well you will spot the water bird species like hornbills, cormorants, bee-eaters, fish eagles and among many others in the cool atmosphere close to the falls. After the boat cruise you will return back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ziwa Rhino tracking and Departure.
On the final day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and then meet your safari guide and then get ready to depart the park; with the enroute game drive that offers you wonderful wildlife viewing experience until you exist the park. Along the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and go for rhino tracking; this is a unique experience of tracking the remaining rhinos in Uganda, as well you will spotting of other wildlife in the sanctuary. After you will continue with your journey and make another stopover along the way for enroute, after lunch you will drive until you arrive in Kampala and your safari guide will drop you at your convenient place of location that will make your safari come to the end.
