Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you from your either Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, he will welcome you for the tour brief you and introduce you about 3 days Murchison Falls national park with big five experience . After the briefing you will start your journey from Kampala to Murchison Falls national park; through passing Masindi with the stunning views along the way, as well you can enjoy the enroute lunch. After lunch you may will proceed for rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see and track the remaining rhinos in Uganda, and later you will proceed with safari journey to Murchison falls national park, as you get close to the park you will be attracted by the park’s spectacular scenery, and then go to hike falls, that will offer you massive experience of the beautiful nature with the water splashes, viewing various animal species and bird species along. Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park for the morning and rewarding morning game drive; this is where you are going to spot the great numbers of lions, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, leopards, Jackson’s hartebeests and many others, as well you will spot bird species including Gant herons, Abyssinian Ground Hornbills, Gray-crowned crane and among many others, after the experience you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise.
After lunch, you will be transferred for the afternoon boat cruise experience to the bottom of the falls, to where you will have fascinating wildlife viewing along the river banks that includes elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, as well you view the crocodiles, hippopotamuses in water. As well you will spot the water bird species like hornbills, cormorants, bee-eaters, fish eagles and among many others in the cool atmosphere close to the falls. After the boat cruise you will return back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the tour, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and meet your tour guide and then set off to Murchison falls national park with enroute game drive this is such rewarding to see the animal as they are moving out from there hideouts to look for the food of the day. This is where you will spot the wildlife that you missed during the previous game drives and you will spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, Uganda Kobs, elephants, waterbucks, antelopes, bushbucks that makes your safari complete.
