Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.
On the 1st day of the Uganda gorilla habituation safari from Kigali, your African Vacation Safari guide will pick you from your hotel in Kigali or from Kigali International Airport upon landing and be briefed about the safari. After the briefing you will be transferred to one of the restaurants in Kigali for lunch. After lunch you will be then setoff for the drive from Kigali to Uganda pearl of Africa through Cyanika border with beautiful views along the way. And once you arrive in Kisoro you will be transferred to Rushaga sector to where your lodge is booked. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge for relaxation then dinner will be served and then overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla habitation experience in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, get up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, with your packed lunch, snacks, drinking water and other essential items you will meet your safari driver and then drive to the park headquarters in Rushaga sector for the briefing about the rules, regulations to follow during gorilla habituation. This is where you will be joined by the park rangers, scientists, researchers, conservationists, and others and then go to the rainforest and get ready for the gorilla habituation early in the morning at around 8:00am. Along the way looking for the habituated gorillas you will be impressed with the various animal species, primate species, bird species, tree species and among many others. Gorilla habituation takes you a period of about 1 hour to 7hours and once the habituated gorillas are located you will spend rewarding 4 hours with the gorillas while learning more about the gorillas then training them to get used to the human beings. During the 4 hours experience you will participate in the naming process, taking pictures, recording the videos, and among many others. After the 4 hours of experience you will trek back to the starting point to where you will be rewarded with the gorilla habituation certificates for participating in gorilla habituation and then your driver guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure to Kigali.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breakfast. After the breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet with your safari driver and then start your journey from Bwindi impenetrable forest national park to Kigali Rwanda and then you will arrive in the afternoon during the lunch time.
You will have lunch and after lunch you will start your Kigali city tour in case it was missed on the start of the safari. This is where you will explore the city’s popular destinations like Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kimoronko Market, and among many others. After the experience you will be dropped off to your preferred destination either at your hotel in Kigali or to Kigali International Airport to catch a flight back home that will make your safari come to the end.
