Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Fly to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.
On day one of the 4 days flying double gorilla trekking in Uganda, you will connect to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to one of the Bwindi’s airstrip that is Kihihi airstrip that is approximately takes you one hour or one and a half hours, with the clear aerial views along the way. Upon your arrival, your driver safari will pick up from the airstrip and then transfer you to the lodge then check in for relaxation around your lodge and then later will be served and overnight stay.
Day 2: First gorilla trekking experience in Buhoma sector and transfer to Ruhija sector.
On the 2nd day of the 4 days flying double gorilla trekking in Uganda, get up in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast together with your packed lunch, meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be grouped in various groups of about 8 members per group, and each group will be assigned with the experienced park ranger and park guide to lead them in the forest to look for the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas, this is where you will trek through the steep, densely forested hills while fascinated with the various primates, bird species, and animal species and among many others in the forest. And once you find the gorillas you will be given one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas that is keeping 7 meters away from them. This is when you will watch the gorillas doing their daily activities like playing, grooming, feeding, mating and others. During that period that’s when you will take the pictures and then recording their videos.
And after one hour of the experience you will trek back to the starting point and then your driver guide will transfer you to Ruhija sector in the eastern part of Bwindi that takes you about 2 to 3 hours’ drive. Once you arrive to your lodge you will check into the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Second gorilla trekking experience in Ruhija sector.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your packed lunch and then meet with driver guide and then go for the second gorilla trekking experience at the park headquarters for the briefing about what should be done and what should not be done during gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be grouped in various groups and then allocated a gorilla family to trek and then with the company of the skilled park guides and park rangers and then start trekking in the forest to search of the habituated gorillas that takes you about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. And once the gorilla family is found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat to where you will be able to learn about gorillas doing their daily activities, observing their behaviours, taking pictures, recording their videos and among others.
After the one hour, you will trek back to the starting point and be awarded with a certificate for taking part in gorilla trekking and then meet with driver guide and optional you can go for the Batwa cultural tour to where you will interact with the Batwa people, learn about their traditions, culture, way of life and then enjoy their traditional dances and songs. After the cultural tour you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure flight to Entebbe International Airport.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast, after breakfast, check out from your lodge and then meet up with your driver guide and then transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport that will make your safari come to the end.
