Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park through Ziwa rhino sanctuary.

Depending on your location in Kampala or Entebbe on the 1st day of the 5 days big five safari in Murchison falls national park, you will be welcomed by your safari driver from African Vacation Safaris who will brief you about the safari, and then later begin your journey to Murchison falls national park, the journey takes you approximately about 5 to 6 hours’ driver. And along the way you will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for stunning rhino tracking and spotting other various wildlife present in the sanctuary then you will proceed with your journey with another second stopover for lunch. Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.

After the game drive you will drive back to your lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will go for the gorgeous boat cruise to the bottom of the falls that begins at Paraa jetty landing site that takes you about 2 to 3 hours, with the perfect views of large concentrations of the crocodiles, hippos in the water, sighting animal species like buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and among others along the river shores, observing water bird species like cormorants, kingfishers, and among others. After the boat cruise you will go back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Nile delta boat cruise and afternoon game drive.

On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will meet with your driver guide and then transfer to the Paraa jetty landing site for your Nile Delta boat cruise that takes about 3 to 4 hours. During the boat cruise you will get the opportunity to spot the various animal species like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, Uganda kobs and among others, and various bird species like Shoebill stork, cormorants, and African kingfishers and among many others. After the experience you will transfer to your lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive.
After lunch, you will meet your driver guide and then transfer to the park for the afternoon game drive for a more viewing safari experience. This is the best time to spot the various wildlife that you missed during the previous game drive. This is rewarding game drive with the perfect views as this is the period when the animal species tend to congregate around the water sources to wash away their thirst. After the game drive you will transfer to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest.

After the early breakfast with your packed lunch on the 4th day of the safari, your driver guide will pick you up from your lodge and then transfer you to Budongo forest for the chimpanzee trekking briefing. After briefing you will start the trekking in the wonderful forest and look for the chimpanzees and this takes a period of about 2 hours to 6 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees because they move from a place to another looking for food.
During trekking you will be able to spot the diverse animal species, bird species, primate species, tree species and among others. Once the chimpanzees are located you will be given a period of one hour to be in the natural habitat that gives you a chance to learn and observe behaviours of the chimpanzees, watch them feeding, breastfeeding, hunting, fighting, mating, taking pictures, recording their videos and among others. After the one hour of experience with the chimpanzees. After the one hour you will trek back to the starting point and then your safari driver will transfer you back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure to Kampala.
On the last day of the safari, wake up in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then meet with your driver guide and then begin with your journey to Kampala. Along the way you will have enroute lunch. After lunch you will continue with your journey and once arrive in Kampala your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home ot dropped any convenient place that will make your safari come to the end.
