Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Depending on your available location on the 1st day of the luxury 4 days gorilla habituation and Lake Bunyonyi, you will be welcomed by your driver guide from African Vacation Safaris who will welcome you and then brief you about the safari and then start your journey to Bwindi impenetrable Park, with the stunning views around. Along the way you will make a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe where you will go for the equator experience to where you will stand in two hemispheres simultaneously, straddling the equator line and you will take memorable photos then learn about the equator’s significance and experience the fascinating phenomenon of water draining differently on either side; this is fun and then education experience later you will buy souvenirs and among others. From the equator you will proceed with a second stopover for en-route lunch. After lunch you will continue with your journey to the park with spectacular views on the way. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience.
On the 2nd day of the Luxury 4 days gorilla habituation and Lake Bunyonyi, you will get up and then have an early breakfast, after breakfast and then with your lunch box meet your driver guide to go for gorilla habituation briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will be allocated an experienced park guide and the park rangers and then start trekking in the jungle that takes almost the whole day with the presence of the scientists, researchers, conservationists and among others. And once the gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend four hours in the presence of the habituated mountain gorillas in their natural habitat to where you will be able to learn and then monitor their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, taking pictures and then recording the videos for the safari memories, participating in the naming process and among others. After the four hours you will trek back to the starting point to where you will be a warded a certificate for participating in gorilla habituation experience and then later transfer to your lodge for dinner relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for boat ride experience.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will meet your Uganda safari guide and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale that only takes you 2 hours’ drive with the amazing views along the way. And once you arrive, you will go for the stunning boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi that offers the breathtaking views of the lake’s serene waters, surrounded by the lush green hills and then terraced islands. This is a perfect way to relax, spotting various bird species and then taking in the stunning scenery, with the options to visit the islands, enjoy water activities like swimming or simply enjoy in the cool atmosphere and among others. After the boat ride, you will drive to your lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax at your lodge and then later will be served with dinner, then overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure to Kampala.
On the last day of the safari, you will get up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then meet up with your driver guide and then embark on your journey back to Kampala. Along the way you will have the enroute lunch in Mbarara, and after lunch you will proceed with your journey to Kampala. And upon your arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport to catch a flight back home or dropped at your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
